Introduction
The piccolo (Italian for small) bible is designed to be a lightweight bible study application. It is offered for your use free of charge. It is an intentionally simplified application with limited features and designed with ease of use as a goal.
Features in current version:
- Read several different versions of the bible using tab interface
- Customize the font and size of the text according to your preferences.
- Search for any word or phrase in the entire bible or within a specified search range. The results are shown in the navigation column.
- Double click any word (or strong's number in the KJV bible) to look it up in the dictionary
- View your verse navigation history
- Can be used easily even at 640 x 480 display resolution
- Footnotes
- Words of Christ shown in red
- Easy to follow documentation
Features planned for future releases:
- Highlight text
- Create and store your own notes
- Create a topic and add a list of bible verses to that topic
- Parallel display to read several bible versions simulataneously
- Multi-lingual support
